Unstoppable
Even as a small kid, Tami was determined. If there was something she wanted, she either knew how to get it, or how to play one parent off the other in order to make them give it to her. Either way, Tami was always a force to be reckoned with. I do not remember this story because I was at school when it happened, but my mom and more vividly, my grandpa Cecil, will tell you this story like it was yesterday. It was winter time when Tami was probably 2 or 3. Todd and I were both in school, and my mom had just had some pretty serious dental work done (I think it was wisdom teeth.) Anyways, the dentist gave her Vicodin to try and male her to be able to deal with the pain, and hopefully take care of her kids at home. Well, it helped her deal with the pain, and she was down for the count. Tami, being the independent young girl that she was decided, I wont wake mom, I will just play nicely and mind my own business. And then she got bored and decided that she had better let mom keep sleeping, so she would just go outside and play/ This was the middle of the winder and Tami went out without shoes on. She was half way down the street when grandpa stopped over to check on mom and found her. He came in the house and found my mom, passed out from the Vicodin and woke her up to tell her where he had found Tami. She was so determined, don't worry about the stairs on the deck, the gate that fenced in our back yard...oh no, none of that would stop Tami.
